can you make a dream come true?
last year i put my heart into a competition. in the end, i didn’t get anywhere. and that’s fine because you have to at least try otherwise you stand no chance whatsoever. it did somewhat knock my confidence, but as with anything, you stand up, brush off your knees and keep on running. you get knocks and bruises but it’s all part of the growing process, it makes you stronger.
this year i decided to give it my best shot. i’m more determined than ever before in my life to prove that a dream can come true if you have the drive, determination and pure love. others may see photography as my “career” but it will forever be my “passion” and just my way of getting by in this fast world. to get anywhere in this competition would be the difference between a dream and a reality. it would mean those stars could be clutched in my hand as opposed to just out of reach from my fingertips.
